On Monday (13), Deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General RV Udawatta psc ato was warmly welcome by the Commanding Officer,6 SLAOC Maj VD Varusavithana ato on administrative inspection visit to 6 SLAOC.Col Comdt was accorded with a Guard Turnout presented by troops 6 SLAOC and conducted the admin inspection.The Colonel Commandant addressed all ranks and explained that empowerment of productivity through enhancing of knowledge of soldiers and he further elaborated that common problems confronted by individual and application of knowledge to get rid of that issues.

Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps bid farewell to the outgoing Colonel Commandant Major General RV Udawatta psc ato on 28 July 2017 who retired after serving more than 35 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army.

The Regimental council meeting of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps for the Second quarter of 2017 was held on 20 July 17 at the Regimental Center. The council was chaired by deputy chief of staff and Col Comdt SLAOC Maj Gen RV Udawatta psc ato.
