Regimental Council meeting of the Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps was held on 27November2017 at the newly opened Holiday Bungalow at Diyatalawa.The meeting chaired by Major General BS Vidanage ,Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps.
Discussionsmainly focused on matters pertaining to development&administrative aspects of theOrdnance Corps and many Senior Officers were present to the meeting.

Renovated Ordnance Holiday Bungalow at Diyatalawa was ceremonially opened by Major General BSVidanage theColonel CommandantofSri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 27 November 2017.The facilities of the bungalow entitle for both serving and retired officer and other rankers of the regiment at compassionate rate.Many seniorofficers and other rankersattended for the event.

In concurrence to the 68 Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps a “Cocktail” was organized by Warrant Officers & Sergeants on 20October 2017with the participation of all the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers. The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General BS Vidanage and warmly welcomed by the Regimental Sergeant Major, WO I KNR Garusinghe USP.

In accordance to the directions given by Comd of the Army to conduct an Offrs trg day quarterly, RHQ SLAOC organized its first Offrs training day for year 2016. In RHQ SLAOC premises Dombagoda under the supervision and participation of the Col Comdt Maj Gen RV Udawatta psc ato. The programme was aligned with a set of activities.
