Sewa Wanitha

The aim of accelerating the welfare activities another income generating project "Rickshaw Pink Corner Cafe" was declared opened by the Chairperson of SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Iresha Fernando as the chief guest, following the invitation extended by the Commander Logisitics Command and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC Major General Menaka Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO a on 27 April 2025 at SLAOC Cricket Ground Complex.

A formal ceremony organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps was held on 10 April 2025 to appreciate the service rendered by the civilian staff serving at the Regimental Headquarters and the School of Ordnance. This event coincided with the New Year celebration.

This initiative, led by Mrs. Iresha Fernando, President of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, under the guidance and support of Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander, Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC.

The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC), under the visionary leadership of Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC, proudly inaugurated a newly constructed house for Lance Corporal KD Fernando and his family on 18 December 2024. The housewarming ceremony, held in Kalutara, was graced by Major General Menaka Fernando and Mrs. Iresha Fernando, President of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, as the Chief Guests.
