Sewa Wanitha

In commemoration of World Children’s Day, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the SLAOC spearheaded a community outreach initiative at the “Sukitha” Handicapped Children’s Home in Horana on 01 October 2025.

The Committee meeting of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC – SVB) was held on 15th August 2025 at the conference hall of the Army Ordnance Industries (AOI) - Veyangoda. The event was graced by the presence of the Senior Members of SLAOC – SVU and held under the patronage of Maj Gen W M S N Wijekoon ndc AATO Quarter Master General and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC.

The Committee Meeting of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch was held on 29 June 2025, held under the esteemed patronage of the Commander Logistics Command and the Colonel Commandant SLAOC, Major General EMM. Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, within the distinguished confines of the conference hall at the Seva Vanitha Building in RHQ SLAOC,Dombagoda.The meeting was presided over by the Honorable President of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Iresha Fernando, and was graced by the presence of Seva Vanitha members of SLAOC.

The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps organized a Sago Dansela at Dombagoda Junction on the 14th of May 2025 to mark the dawn of the Vesak Festival. This initiative, led by Chairperson of SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Iresha Fernando, was conducted under the guidance and support of Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander, Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC. The event served as a gesture of goodwill and communal harmony during the Vesak Festival.
