The chief of staff Major General Vikum Liyanage recently visited on the Central Arms and Ammunition Depot (CAAD) at Veyangoda on 27 April 2022, in order to receive and update on functional aspects of ammo refilling and pyrotechnics. During the visit chief of staff had a close look at the ammo refilling section and pyrotechnics section and made inquiries into deferent faces of its process. Master General Ordnance, Major General Hirosha Wanigasekara, The Director, Directorate of Ordnance Services, Brigadier Indrajith Vithanachchi, Centre Commandant of SLAOC, Brigadier Ajith Munasinghe, Colonel General Staff of Directorate of Operations, Col MKDP Mapalagama together with Colonel Ordnance, Colonel Ananda Jayarathne too joined the occasion.
