Upholding the traditions and customs, the Commanding Officer of 4 (V) SLAOC Maj HMCCB Herath USP Lsc ato with all officers warmly welcome the Colonel Commandant on 26th May 2025.
As a symbolic gesture to commemorate the visit, he planted a sapling and later participated in a group photograph.
Afterwards Commanding Officer briefed all administrative and technical matters to the Colonel Commandant and then after visited the camp premises.
During the visit Colonel Commandant inspected ORs' Mess, Accommodation and he engaged in cordial interactions with the Officers and NCOs at the WO's & Sgts' Mess.
Concluding the visit, he addressed the troops, emphasizing the importance of maintaining efficient administration within the unit and finally he penned his thoughts and wishes on the visitor’s book.
INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF REGIMENTAL SERGEANT MAJOR ACCOMMODATION
The fully renovated Regimental Sergeant Major Accommodation of the 4 th Regiment, Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, was inaugurated by the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnanace Corps,On 26 th of May with the invitation by Commanding Officer, Regimental Sergeant Major. All officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs), and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) attended the inauguration ceremony.
CIVILIAN STAFF SERVICE RECOGNISED WITH GRATITUDE BY SVB
A formal ceremony organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps was held on 26 th May 2025 to appreciate the service rendered by the civilian staff serving at the 4 th Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnanace Corps.
This initiative, led by Mrs. Iresha Fernando, President of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, under the guidance and support of Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander, Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC.
The dry ration packs inclusive of essential items and were gifted by the members of SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch as part of this welfare programme. All Officers and other ranks from the 4 (V) SLAOC actively participated, contributing to the success of the event.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs. Iresha Fernando and Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, senior officers, officers and other ranks, marking the occasion as a significant event.
