The Commander Logistics Command and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO Conducted an Administrative inspection at the 6th Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 08th May 2025.
At the arrival he was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer Maj HKSS Dilantha USP psc ato & then accorded a guard turnout by giving priority to military customs & traditions.
As per the itinerary, the Col Comdt planted a sapling at the HQ premises to mark the visit memorable, followed by a group photograph.
The visit proceeded with the Commanding Officer’s informative and comprehensive briefing on the unit’s administrative functions to the Col Comdt.
Afterwards, the Col Comdt joined the all ranks tea party where he engaged in a cordial discussion with the staff of the 6th Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps & then he visited camp premises. During the visit Col Comdt inspected Admin Office, Guard room, Armoury, ORs’ Accommodations, Kitchen & Cpl’s Club.
Concluding the visit he addressed the troops, emphasizing the importance of maintaining efficient administration and discipline while enhancing the training aspects. Finally, he penned his thoughts & wishes on the visitor’s book.
