In a noble effort to enhance the mental stability and wellness of individuals with psychiatric disabilities, the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, along with several senior members of SLAOC-SVB, senior Officers, and their families, visited the National Institute of Mental Health in Mulleriyawa on Saturday, May 25,2024.
This visit was conducted under the guidance of the President of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Iresha Fernando, and the supervision of the Logistics Commander - SFHQ (J), the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, and the Centre Commandant SLAOC, Colonel KMAWK Perera AATO.
During the visit, members of the Seva Vanitha Branch interacted with the patients through an entertainment session, inquired about their well-being, donated necessary items to fulfill their requirements and also renovated a ceiling of the ward.
The visit concluded with a delicious lunch provided to the patients, along with heartfelt wishes for their recovery and well-being.
