After assuming duties as the Commander, Forward Maintenance Area (MLT), Brigadier AL Ilangakoon made his maiden visit to 7 Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 29th September 2021.
The Commander Forward Maintenance Area (MLT) was accorded with a guard turnout and welcomed by the Officiating Commanding Officer Major AMRHB Abeysinghe USP AATO Lsc. Commanding Officer's briefing was followed by a troop address by the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (MLT)
During the visit, Commander Forward Maintenance Area (MLT) inspected the camp premises and planted a Mango sapling to mark his maiden visit to 7 SLAOC. He appreciated all ranks for the effort taken to maintain the camp in a good shape which he described as an exemplarily for everyone in his AOR.
Finally Commander Forward Maintenance Area (MLT) joined with officers for a tea at the Offices’ Mess and penned his thoughts and good wishes in the visitors’ book.
