DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF VISITS TO SCHOOL OF ORDNANCE

The Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Wasantha Madola made a formal visit to School of Ordnance, Dombagoda on 01st April 2021.

The Deputy Chief of Staff was accorded with a drive pass and welcomed by the Commandant School of Ordnance Lieutenant Colonel Tharanga Silva USP ato Lsc.

The Deputy Chief of Staff has planted a Mango sapling to mark his visit and he was briefed on the training curriculum of the School of Ordnance by the Commandant School of Ordnance. During the visit, The Deputy Chief of Staff inspected model rooms; accommodation area and camp premises too.During the troops address DCOS appreciated the training standard and facilities available at the School of Ordnance and also appreciated the Commandant and all ranks for the effort they have taken to maintain the camp in a good shape.

The Centre Commandant SLAOC Brig Jagath Gamage USP AATO, Director Ordnance Services Brig Priyantha Weerasinghe USP ato and Senior Officers from various Directorates of AHQ also participated for the event.

At the end of the day’s proceedings, the DCOS penned his thoughts and good wishes in the visitors’ book.
