Comd FMA (North) and Col Comdt of SLAOC conducted an Admin Inspection at Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Factory - Dombagoda on 21st July 2020.

The Administrative Inspection of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Factory was held on 21st July 2020 by the Commander FMA (North) and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General R L C Fernando AATO to ensure smooth administrative functioning of the SLAOF.

Upon his arrival, the Colonel Commandant was warmly welcome by the Brigadier JPH Gamage USP AATO, Commandant SLAOF and accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance of the SLAOF.

The Colonel Commandant planted a sapling of a ‘Gini waraka’ tree to symbolize his visit to SLAOF before the commencement of the presentation conducted by the Commandant of the SLAOF.

In addition, the Colonel Commandant visited the almost the sections of Ordnance Factory to witness the production mechanism. The SO 1 (A) at RHQ Dy Comd of SLAOF and other officers also attended for the event.
