WARRANT OFFICER - II SEEKKUGE PRASANNA RECEIVED PROMOTIONS ARMY IN LIGHT OF THE EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE
Warrant officer - II Seekkuge Prasanna, one of the freshest hopefuls of Army in cricketing, was promoted by the Army Commander following his all round performances during the recent Australian series.
Army Commander Lieutenant General Crishanthe de Silva promoted Warrant Officer - II Seekkuge Prasanna of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps to the rank of Warrant Officer – I in recognition of his attainments.
Synchronously, Sergeant Asela Gunaratne of the Sri Lanka Artillery , was promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer-II (WO-II) by the Army Commander.
The Army Commander conferred mementos to each of the cricketers and elongated the Army’s warm greetings.
The occasion was graced by Major Major General RV Udawatta psc ato, Deputy Chief of Staff and Col Comdt SLAOC, Major General Priyantha Jayasundara, Chairman, Army Cricket Committee and the Colonel of the Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General P.M.R Bandara WWV USP ndu psc, Director General Sports of the Army and a few other senior officers.
