In concurrence to the 67th corps day anniversary of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps a wreath laying ceremony was organized by the 1 SLAOC to commemorate the fallen war heroes of Ordnance family at the Ordnance war memorial in Panagoda on 13.10.2016. Those who made supreme sacrifice were blessed by religious leaders.
The close relatives of fallen war heroes took part the alms giving ceremony organized by the 1 SLAOC. They also given with Rs.5000/= donation as travelling expenses. The president of SLAOC Seva Vnitha unit Mrs. N D Udawatta and senior members of SLAOC Seva Vanitha Unit distributed donations among close relatives of war heroes.
