On 24 August 2022, at Regimental Headquarters Dombagoada, a charm felicitation ceremony was held to honour newly promoted Maj Gen G K I Vithanachchi ato. The customary event was attended by a substantial number of Officers and Other Ranks in RHQ SLAOC.
Featuring the traditional event, first, he reviewed the guard turnout presented to him and accepted the Regimental salute by the RHQ SLAOC.
