TRIBUTE TO NEWLY PROMOTED COMD FMA (N) & COL COMDT SLAOC MAJ GEN E M M FERNANDO Hdmc Lcs AATO

On the 7^th of November 2023, a formal and dignified ceremony was held at the RHQ SLAOC, Dombagoda, to felicitate the newly promoted Major General E M M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO.

The day's proceedings commenced with Col K M A W K Perera AATO, the Centre Commandant of SLAOC, warmly welcoming Major General Menaka Fernando at the main entrance. This was followed by a formal guard turnout by the Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps. Subsequently, a floral tribute was paid at the Fallen War Heroes Monument, and Major General Fernando was then accompanied to the salute of the proud and dignified military Guard of Honour.
