The annual New Year festival of the Sri Lanka Ordnance corps Seva Vanitha Unit (SLAOC - SVU) organized by its members under the guidance of Mrs.ND Udawatte the chairperson of Ordnance Seva Vanitha Unit, on 21 April of Ranavirugama ground Dombagoda Horana.
The celebration, held on Ranavirugama of Dombagoda and comprised of many games of fun making & cultural games All the surrounding was decorated as ancient village consisting Gamagedara Vedagedara Kammala Tree House and Kamatha And also main roles of ancient village such as Archchi and his wife,pina, wedamama,village blacksmith added more glamour and attraction to the event .The Deputy Chief of Staff, Col Comdt of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps along with Mrs.Deepika Udawatte Chairperson of SLAOC SVU and Senior Officers, Officers, and their families along with Ranavirugama villagers also participated to this festival.
