RHQ SLAOC Successfully Launched a Tree Planting Programme

Under the direction of Quarter Master General (AHQ), Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Major General HGI Vidyananda USP AATO Lsc, launched a tree planting programme on 29th March 2019.

The programme covered planting of more than 550 samplings of fruits and other shady trees in the premises of Regimental Centre, School of Ordnance, Ordnance Factory and Sport Complex area with the participation of Colonel Commandant, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Representatives of the Range Forest Office - Ingiriya.

The event was terminated with an informative and educative presentation conducted on the topic of “Importance of protect the Nature” by the Representatives of the Range Forest Office - Ingiriya.
