The 3rd Regimental council meeting for the 3rd quarter of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps was held on 24th June 2019 at the SLAOC Regimental conference hall, chaired by Quarter Master General and Col Comdt of SLAOC Maj Gen HGI Vidyananda VSV USP AATO Lsc.
Matters relating to the career progression of Officers, constructions and development progress of cricket ground and administration issues were taken in to discussion at the meeting. This council meeting is significant since it was the last Council meeting of Brigadier SMWBN Thalagahawatta ato who is due for his retirement on 12th August 2019 Further, it was first council meeting of Col R G Herathge AATO SLAOC and Col E M M Fernando AATO Lsc SLAOC.
