PRESIDENT & MEMBERS OF SLAOC SEVA VANITHA UNIT WORSHIPED SRI DALADA MALIGAWA
The Seva Vanitha Unit of the SLAOC is annually organizing various events to bless the gallant war heroes who sacrificed their lives and to those wounded in action and for their family members.
As a novel idea of the President of SLAOC Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. ND Udawatta Seva Vanitha Ordnance Unit organized Chathu Madura Pujawa offered to 170 novice Bikkus who undergoing Chanting Pirith at Asgiriy Vihara piriwena. Following day president and the members of the Ordnance Seva Vanitha Unit invoke blessing Sri Dalada Maligawa and afterwards Seva Vanitha members visited to the Victoriya dam for sight seeing, subsequently lunch was offered to the members of the Ordnance Seva Vanitha Unit.
Maj Gen RV Udawatta psc ato Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps along with 10 senior Officers took part the event.
