ORGANIZED \'KATINA PINKAMA\' AT \'AHAS POKUNA SANDAGIRI ASRAMAYA\' KANDY
The first ever \"Katina Pinkama\" at \"Ahas Pokuna Sandagiri Asramaya\", Kandy on 06 and 07 Nov 2015 was organized by the Ordnance Seva Vanitha Unit under the guidance and participation of Mrs Deepika Udawatta President Ordnance Seva Vanitha Unit. The ceremony was followed by all night Pirith Chanting, Katina Perahera and alms were offered for 20 Bhikkhu to bestow merits to those who made supreme sacrifice for the motherland and invoke blessing on those wounded in action and for the serving Offrs/ORs,Civil employers and their families.
Serving Snr offrs, members of Ordnance Seva Vanitha Unit, Sldrs and villagers in around Kandy participated in the event with their families.
