In alignment with the annual Seva Vanitha event plan of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, the Regimental Centre meticulously organized a donation program at the "Sukitha" Handicapped Children’s Home in Galpatha, Horana on the 7th of January 2024, under the esteemed guidance and participation of the Commander FMA (N) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Maj Gen E M M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO and the president of the SVB - SLAOC, Mrs. Iresha Fernando.
The program commenced with a delicious lunch, complemented by an entertainment session given for the 40 children in attendance. To commemorate the occasion, essential gift items were graciously donated for the children by the President of SVB - SLAOC. In addition to the donation made by the SVB - SLAOC, Mrs. Malinda Gunawardhana and family of retired Col Upul Gunawardhana too donated gift items and dry rations for the use of "Sukitha" Handicapped Children’s Home.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of several senior members and members of SVB - SLAOC, the Colonel Commandant, Senior Officers, and Officers of Corps of Ordnance alike.
