Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Colours night was held today (08.08.2019) at Colombo Bishop’s College Auditorium in the evening. There were 147 Colour recipients were admired by awarding colours for their contribution to uplift the standard of various sports in SLAOC. This glamorous event was colorful with the dances of Mr Chandana Wickramasinghe and Mr Kevin Nugeras dancing activities.
The Commander of the Army Lt Gen Mahesh Senanayake graced the occasion as the chief guest with the invitation of the Quarter Master General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Maj Gen Indrajith Vidyananda, and other senior Officers and retired senior Officers of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps were present the event with their spouses. The guest of honor was the Brig (Ret) Jayadewa Jayawardhana who was a brilliant rugby player, coacher and veterans in the rugby sport in Sri lanka. The chief event coordinator was Brig Chandana Marasinghe. The event was successfully concluded with the admiration of the invitees.
