The Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps marked a significant milestone with the ceremonial opening of the newly constructed ‘B’ Gate on 20 March 2026.
The event was graced by the Quarter Master General and Colonel Commandant, Major General W M S N Wijekoon ndc AATO, who formally declared the gate open. The Colonel Commandant also unveiled the commemorative plaque marking this important development.
The newly constructed gate enhances both the security and aesthetic appearance of the Regimental Headquarters, reflecting the ongoing infrastructure development of the Corps. It fulfilled a long-standing requirement, addressing a need that had remained unmet for a considerable period.
The occasion served as a token of appreciation and strengthened the spirit of camaraderie among all ranks. The event concluded on a proud and memorable note.
