Director General Ordnance Servicers and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Maj Gen MEP Weerasinghe USP ato visited 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 15 January 2022 on the invitation of Commanding Officer Lt Col WSD Fernando ato Lsc SLAOC in order to opening of a Lecture Hall (100’x20’), a ORs’ Accommodation Building (100’x20’) and a Play Ground which were much needed requirements to uplift the training and development and welfare of the unit.
Day’s proceedings were followed by offering a grand level guard turnout, planting of a sapling, troop address, officers address, all rank tea party and an officers get together including all the ordnance officers working in the AOR.
