OFFICER TRAINING DAY FOR 2nd QUARTER 2017

Officers training day was conducted on 21 June 2017 at the Regimental Centre SLAOC under the direction of Major General R V Udawatte psc ato, Deputy Chief of Staff & Colonel Commandant SLAOC.

The Training day commenced with physical training and drill sessions. Afterwards Mr.WD Jayasinghe conducted a lecture about procurement guide lines and procedures which enhanced the knowledge of officersâ on procurement process. It was comprise with the preparation and opening of bidding documents, technical evaluation, vetting and Scrutinizing, award of tenders, Contract Administration and Common mistakes done by procurement entities.

Coincide with the officer training day at the dinner club Prof. Prashantha Perera conducted a very important lecture on Military history and terminated with a questioning and answer session to clarify doubts on the field amplifying the knowledge of officers.
