Major General T. Sivashanmugam (Retd) of the Army passed away on Saturday (1) while receiving treatment at the Colombo Army Hospital.
He was the 1st Regimental Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC), 1st Major General of the SLAOC, 1st Major General of the Logistic Units and the 1st Master General Ordnance (MGO) of the Sri Lanka Army.
His remains are now lying at A.F. Raymond Funeral Directors, Raymond House, No 115, D. S. SenanayakeMawatha, Colombo 8. Funeral arrangements with full military honours at Colombo General Cemetery will commence at 4.00 pm on Wednesday (5).
