Newly appointed Commanding officer of 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (V) Maj WMSMB Wansekara was honored with a guard turnout by the troops of 4 SLAOC(V) on 01st January 2020.
New commanding officer signed the first letter to signify the acceptance of duties & responsibilities of the new appointment with the blessing of the “Maha Sangha”. Maj WMSMB Wansekara planted a tree in the camp premises to mark the occasion and later on, attended to the all ranks tea.
After the all ranks tea, commanding officer addressed all officers & other ranks to explained his vision & mission and how he would apply them in future for the betterment of the unit. Further he explained how to improve the professional knowledge of the officers, other ranks of the regiment. `Finally, he thanked to all officers, soldiers for their commitment and arrangement of the event.
