MAJ WDPK Withana psc AATO SLAOC was honoured by a guard turnout as the 13th Commanding Officer of 3rd Regiment of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (Minneriya).
On his arrival Maj KADN Siyamblapitiya SLAOC, Officer Commanding OSS – Arty, warmly Welcome at the main entrance on behalf of all the Officers and ORs. The guard turnout was given by the troops of 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps. This formal ceremony was held in order to mark his felicitation as 13th Commanding Officer on 04th March 2022.
During the brief religious observance, the Commanding Officer placed his signature for a formal document in the presence of 3rd Regimental staff to signify the acceptance of duties and responsibilities of the new appointment.
Thereafter, Commanding Officer planted a sapling and addressed the troops. Finally, enjoyed a refreshment organized by the staff and shared a moment with Officers and the Other Ranks.
