Maj Gen HGI Vidyananda USP AATO Lsc assumed duties as Quarter Master General (QMG) at the Army Headquarters, 14 January 2019 amidst greetings and best wishes.
The new QMG signed an official document, signifying the assumption of duties of the new appointment. He succeeded Major General BS Vidanage who retired from service.
Several Senior Officers were present at the occasion.
Maj Gen HGI Vidyananda USP AATO Lsc has been serving as the Commander, Forward Maintenance Area – Kilinochchi (FMA-KLN) of the Army before he was appointed to this office and also he is the present Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps.
