MAJ BDR PERERA psc Lsc AATO SLAOC ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE 3RD REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS

Maj BDR Perera psc Lsc AATO SLAOC was honoured by a guard turnout as the 18^th Commanding Officer of 3^rd Regiment of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (Minneriya)

On this arrival Maj KMTR Ulapane USP psc ato SLAOC, Second in command 3 SLAOC, warmly received him at the main entrance on behalf of all the officers and ORs. The guard turnout and a parade was given by the troops of 3^rdRegiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps. This formal ceremony was held in order to mark his felicitation as 18th Commanding Office on 14^th June 2023.

During the brief religious observance, the commanding officer placed his signature for a formal document in the presence of 3^rdregimental staff to signify the acceptance of duties and responsibilities of the new appointment.

Thereafter, Commanding Officer planted a sapling and addressed the troops. Finally, enjoyed a refreshment organized by the staff and shared a moment with Officers and Other Ranks.
