1. The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps,Inter Depots/Regts Drill Competition 2016, was successfully concluded on Tuesday 16 of February 2016 at the parade ground School of Ordnance. The Col Comdt of the SLAOC Major General RV Udawatta psc ato graced occasion as the Chief Guest. At the commencement of the day\'s proceedings, display of drills of the best platoon was held and received amidst loud cheering of the spectators. It followed the Band display that added rhythmic music to the event.\r\n\r\n2. In the Inter Depots/Regts Drill Competition 2016, 1 Regt SLAOC emerged as winner and 3 Regt SLAOC was adjudged as runners-up. Lt PGHRD Gunasinghe of 6 Regt SLAOC was awarded as the best Platoon Commander in the competition.\r\n\r\n3. The climax of the day\'s events was the presentation ceremony. The Col Comdt of SLAOC addressed the gathering and give away trophies and certificates in appreciation of their contribution to the whole event and congratulated to the members or respective platoons of drill competition and band on their impressive performances. Concluding his remarks, he thanks all Comdts and COs for immense contribution to the success of event.
