COMMEMORATE THE FALLEN WAR HEROES OF ORDNANCE FAMILY
In concurrence to the 66th anniversary Ordnance Regt a wreath laying ceremony was organized by the 1 SLAOC to commemorate the fallen war heroes of Ordnance family at the Ordnance war memorial in Panagoda on 17.10.2015. Those who made supreme sacrifice were blessed by reverent religious leaders. The kith and kin of fallen war heroes also attended the programme. \r\n\r\nThe close relatives of fallen war heroes had attended the alms giving ceremony organized by the RHQ SLAOC. They also received with RS 5000/= donation as travelling expenses. The president Seva Vanitha unit of SLAOC Mrs Deepika Udawatta and senior members of SLAOC Seva Vanitha Unit distributed donations among close relatives of war heroes.
