Colonel S N A Dissanayaka ato assumed duties as the Offg Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 15th August 2019 in a simple ceremony held at RHQ SLAOC, Dombagoda.
Beginning the day’s events newly appointed Centre commandant received the guard turnout presented by the RHQ. Thereafter a brief religious observance was conducted and followed by lighting the traditional oil lamp. New Centre Commandant placed his signature for a formal document in the presence of Regimental staff to signify the acceptance of duties & responsibilities of the new appointment.
The day’s proceedings were culminated by planting of a tree sapling, a troop address, followed by all rank tea.
