Brigadier JPH Gamage USP AATO Assumed duties as the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 11th September 2020 with a charm and graceful ceremony held at RHQ SLAOC, Dombagoda.
Beginning the day’s events, newly appointed Centre commandant received the guard turnout presented by the RHQ. Thereafter, a brief religious observance was conducted and followed by lighting the traditional oil lamp. New Centre Commandant placed his signature for a formal document in the presence of Regimental staff to signify the acceptance of duties & responsibilities of the new appointment.
The day’s proceedings were culminated by the planting of a tree sapling, a troop address, followed by all ranks tea.
