The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps has been celebrated her 66th Anniversary on 14th Oct 2015 and in the mark of event following programme has been conducted on 66th anniversary new Corps song was released along with video clip. This significant occasion was graced by Col Comdt Maj Gen RV Udawatta psc ato. The Col Comdt was accorded with a guard of honour and a parade at the RHQ premises.
The memorable event of this Corps day was the releasing of Sinhala version of Corps song and the launching of the History book of the Ordnance Corps which includes the history of humble beginning of the Corps to generally growth Ordnance family of current era. The celebration was augmented with the participation of past Col Comdts of the Corps warmly Maj Gen LLA Fernando (Retd) USP, Maj Gen MZR Sallay (Retd) USP, Brig JPA Jayawardana (Retd) USP.They were offered with a copy of the History book and a DVD copy of the Corps song with visuals.The celebration come to an end with all ranks lunch and addressing of Tps by the Col Comdt Maj Gen RV Udawatta psc ato.
