The Commander Logistics Command (Wanni), Major General KGUT Jayasinghe visited 2nd Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 21 January 2026.
Upon arrival, he was accorded a ceremonial welcome by the Commanding Officer, Major MGEM Abeykoon psc Lsc AATO. During the visit, the Commander inspected the ORs accommodation area, ORs Mess, Ration stores, Civil accommodation, Q stores, MT section, Armoury, WO's & Sgt's Mess, as well as the Warehouse complex.
The Commander commended the dedication and collective efforts of all ranks in maintaining the camp to an exemplary standard. The visit concluded with the Commander Logistics Command (Wanni) penned down his complementary remarks in the Visitors’ Book.
