Colonel CT Siriwardana Lsc AATO officially assumed duties as the 32nd Commandant of the Central Arms and Ammunition Depot during a formal ceremony, marking the beginning of his tenure. The event adhered to military traditions, commencing with a Guard Turnout in his honour.
The event commenced with the planting of a sapling to symbolize the assumption of leadership, followed by a group photograph with the staff. A religious observance was conducted thereafter. The Commandant formally assumed duties by signing the official documents in the presence of the staff.
In his address, he firmly emphasized the vital role of teamwork, strict compliance with Army regulations, and a collective commitment to excellence within the establishment. He extended his best wishes to all Officers and Other Ranks, highlighting that unity, discipline, and dedicated service are fundamental to fulfilling the mission and upholding the proud traditions of the Army.
