LAUNCHING OF THE FIRST-DAY COVER AND COMMEMORATIVE STAMP IN HONOR OF THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS

In honor of the distinguished 75th anniversary, the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps launched a first-day cover and a commemorative stamp on 14th October 2024. The intricately designed stamp encapsulates the essence of valour, unwavering duty, and the unparalleled service rendered by the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Embellished with meticulous artistry.

The occasion infolded at the Regimental Center of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps at Dombagoda under the meticulus guidance of The Commander Logistics Command and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Maj Gen EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO and all the senior officers and Officers of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps. The Deputy Postmaster General (Western Province) KANP Kadanarachchi, Postmaster General (Colombo) N Lanarol and The Director of Philatelic Bureau LGN de Silva Graced the occasion as the chief guests.
