SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS MARKS 76TH CORPS DAY WITH A SERIES OF DIGNIFIED EVENTS

The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps proudly celebrated its 76th Corps Day with a series of solemn and memorable events held at the Regimental Headquarters. The celebrations paid tribute to the Corps’ proud heritage, honouring its fallen heroes while strengthening unity and camaraderie among all ranks.

COMMEMORATION PARADE OF FALLEN WAR HEROES

The series commenced on 13 October 2025 with a Commemoration Parade of Fallen War Heroes at the Monument Premises, RHQ SLAOC. The event was graced by the Quarter Master General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC, Major General WMSN Wijekoon ndc AATO, together with the Centre Commandant, senior officers, officers, soldiers, and family members of the fallen war heroes.

The ceremony began with multi-religious observances, followed by a parade of honour and floral tributes placed by the and senior officers. An Colonel Commandant almsgiving and donation programme were also held, symbolizing gratitude and continued support to the families of the fallen war heros.
