LAUNCHING CEREMONY OF AUTOMATED MATERIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM – VERSIONS 2 & MYQ1 APPLICATION

Launching ceremony of newly implemented Automated Material Management System – Version 2 & myQ1 Application was held on 19th February 2025 at Army Headquarters. The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG graced the occasion as the Chief Guest upon the invitation extended by Director Ordnance Services Brigadier KPNSK Kariyawasam Lsc AATO.

The event was started with flashing documentary film of proud Ordnance history, and Director Ordnance Services welcomed the Commander of the Army and all distinguish invitees. The documentary film of Automated Material Management System – Version 2 & myQ1 Application was flashed to educate and give a brief idea regarding the system. Afterward, the Automated Material Management System – Version 2 & myQ1 Application were officially launched by the Commander of the Army by starting a new chapter of Ordnance history.

This system will facilitate to provide effective, efficient and timely supply of Ordnance items to all establishments of the Sri Lanka Army. Furthermore, this will enable to follow the “LESS PAPER” concept according to the direction given by the Commander of the Army. In addition, myQ1 application will enable all Army personnel to verify their entitlement and issued status of ordnance items to them via Army eportal.

Finally Director Ordnance Services, Brigadier KPNSK Kariyawasam Lsc AATO presented the token of appreciation to the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG to commemorate the event.

All PSOs, Comd Log Comd, all Directors of AHQ, Comdts & COs of Ordnance establishments and COs of dependent establishments were participated to this memorable event.
