INAUGURATION OF “REGIONAL ORDNANCE DEPOT COMPLEX – MULLAITIVU” AND LT COL HPAS HEWAPATHIRANA AATO OF SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE FIRST COMMANDANT OF RODC – (MLT)

Lt Col HPAS Hewapathirana AATO assumed duties as the 1st Commandant of the Regional Ordnance Depot Complex on 16th May 2024 with a charm and graceful ceremony held at RODC(MLT).

Beginning the day’s events, the newly appointed Commandant raised the flag of RODC - MLT. Then received the guard turnout and accompanied to the salute of the proud, dignified military Ceremonial parade.

Afterwards, with the blessings of noble triple gems, Comdt – RODC (MLT), Lt Col HPAS Hewapathirana AATO endorsed his signature in a formal document by confirming his duties as the Comdt – RODC (MLT). Then sat for a group photograph with Officers and ORs.

After That, the Commandant addressed troops and joined the tea party with Officers and Other Ranks and marked the end of the programme.
