As per the guidance of the Quarter Master General of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General WMSN Wijekoon ndc AATO, and under the supervision of the Centre Commandant, Colonel GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ato, together with Colonel GAIS Nanayakkara AATO, Commandant of the School of Ordnance, the Basic Ordnance Officers’ Management Course – 2026 successfully concluded with its final presentation.
The course was conducted with the objective of developing the professional knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership competencies of newly commissioned officers of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps.
The final presentation, held on 11 February 2026, provided an opportunity for the young officers to demonstrate the analytical capabilities and presentation skills they had acquired during the course. Director Ordnance Services, Brigadier KMAWK Perera AATO graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Senior officers and officers of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps were also presented and offered valuable feedback and professional insights at the conclusion of the session.
