DONATION OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO CIVILIAN STAFF OF RHQ AND SCH OF ORD

As part of the monthly activities conducted by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC), a formal ceremony was held on 07 November 2024 to distribute essential items and dry ration packs to 24 civilian employees serving at the Regimental Headquarters (RHQ) and the School of Ordnance (SCH of ORD). This event coincided with the one-year anniversary of Mrs. Iresha Fernando assuming duties as President of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch.

This initiative, led by Mrs. Iresha Fernando, was conducted with the guidance and support of Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander, Logistics Command, and Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC.

Essential items and dry ration packs were donated by members of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch as part of this welfare programme. Officers and other ranks from the RHQ and SCH of ORD actively participated, contributing to the success of the event.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs. Iresha Fernando and Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, along with senior members of the SLAOC Seva Vanitha Branch, senior officers, officers, and other ranks, marking this occasion as a significant event in the Corps calendar.
