Under the guidance and supervision of Major HMCCB Herath USP Lsc ato, the Commanding Officer of the 4th (Volunteer) Regiment, Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, a welfare programme was organized in view of the forthcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Accordingly, dry ration packs consisting of essential commodities were distributed among the civilian staff and one Other Rank of the unit on 10 April 2026, in recognition of their dedicated service and valuable contribution to the efficient functioning of the Regiment.
Addressing the gathering, the Commanding Officer commended their commitment and highlighted the vital role they play in supporting the day-to-day operations of the unit. He also extended his sincere New Year wishes to all civilian staff members and their families.
The programme was conducted with the participation of all Officers and Other Ranks of the unit.
