In celebration of the upcoming Sinhala and Hindu New Year, Regional Ordnance Depot Complex (MLT) organized a special welfare programme to support our dedicated civil staff members. This initiative was aimed at the sharing the spirit of the festive season and recognizing the invaluable service rendered by the civil staff to RODC (MLT). The programme was held on 09th of April 2026 under the guidance and supervision of the Colonel HPAS Hewapathirana AATO, Commandant of the Regional Ordnance Depot Complex (MLT).
The dry ration packs inclusive of essential items and new year present were gifted by the commandant, all officers and all ranks as part of this welfare programme. All officers and other ranks from the RODC (MLT) participated, contributing to the success of the event.
The programme was conducted successfully, achieving its objective of boosting morale and strengthening the bond between the military personnel and civil staff. This initiative stands as a testament to the depot’s commitment to the well being of all its members.
