The Commander 1 Corps, Major General PS Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc conducted his official visit to 6th Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps on 24 January 2026.
Upon Commander 1 Corps arrival , he was warmly welcomed by Major HKSS Dilantha USP psc ato SLAOC,the Commanding Officer of 6 SLAOC and then he was accorded a Guard turnout in keeping with military traditions.
Thereafter, the Commander 1 Corps attended a comprehensive briefing conducted by the Commanding Officer of 6 SLAOC.
After that the Commander 1 Corps inspected the camp premises including armoury, accommodation areas, main cook house, Ptes’ mess and Corporals’ Club.
The Commander 1 Corps addressed the troops, highlighting the critical role of maintaining military discipline and importance of effective logistics supply to the dependent establishments.
Concluding the day’s proceedings the Commander 1 Corps penned his wishes in the visitors' book.
