The Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC Maj Gen E M M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO conducted the administrative inspection at 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps- Panagoda on 29th January 2025. Giving priority to military customs and traditions, the Commanding Officer of 1 SLAOC welcomed the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC at the entrance.
Featuring the traditional event, firstly he reviewed the guard turnout presented by the 1 SLAOC on the invitation of the Commanding Officer. As per the itinerary the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC planted a sapling at the camp premises marking the visit memorable and appearing for the group photograph. Subsequently, Commanding Officer apprised the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC on the administrative aspects of the unit during the CO’s briefing. During the visit Col Comdt inspected each echelons of the unit and shared his views for the development of the establishment.
During the troop address Col Comdt appreciated the effort taken by the All Ranks to maintain the unit in high standard. Further snr offr shared his vision for the future aspects of technical, administrative and training. Moreover, he categorically highlighted the values of participation for courses, training opportunities and constant learning which is vital to the development of their professionalism. At the end of the troop address he wished everyone's future endeavors. Finally, he penned his thoughts and wishes on the visitor’s book.
