ADMINISTRATIVE INSPECTION BY MAJ GEN E M M FERNANDO Hdmc Lsc AATO THE COMMANDER LOGISTICS COMMAND AND COLONEL COMMANDANT OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS AT ARMY CLOTHING DEPOT – VEYANGODA 22ND JANUARY 2025.

The Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC Maj Gen E M M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO conducted the administrative inspection at ACD - Veyangoda on 22nd January 2025. Giving priority to military customs and traditions Commandant of ACD – Veyangoda Lt Col GGMG De Silva ato welcomed the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC at the entrance.

Featuring the traditional event, first he reviewed the guard turnout presented by the depot on the invitation of the Comdt. As per the itinerary the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC planted a sapling at the depot premises marking the visit memorable and appear for the group photograph. Subsequently, Comdt apprised to the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC on the administrative aspects of the depot during the Comdt’s briefing. During the visit Comdt Col inspected Admin Office,ware houses, Canteen, armoury and Sample Room.

During his tps address he appreciated the effort taken by Comdt and All Ranks to maintain the depot in high standard. Further snr offr shared his vision for the future aspects of technical, administrative and training. Moreover he highlighted participation for courses, training opportunities, constant learning is vital for the development of their professionalism. At the end of the tps address he wished everyone's future endeavors. Finally he penned his thoughts and wishes on the visitor’s book.
