  • WHEEL CHAIR DONATION PROGRAMME CONDUCTED BY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CORPS OF ENGINEERS

    Seva Vanitha Branch - Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) distributed 7 wheel chairs for differently abled soldiers. Following gentlemen have been sponsored for the wheel chairs and the sponsorship coordinated by Mrs Dilupa Warahena.

  • OPENING OF NEW PALALI TANK “RAVINDU WAPI” CONSTRUCTED BY 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

    Creating another glorious remark in the history of 10 Field Engineer Regiment, newly constructed tank named “Ravindu Wapi” was declared open by the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General LHSC Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc on 18th July 2020 with the invitation of Commander of Security Forces Jaffna, Major General PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu USAGCSC. This tank was raised in the concept preserving of seasonal rain water collected in the Jaffna land, honoring the ancient king Parakramabahu’s saying “not even a little water that comes from the rain must flow into the ocean without being made useful to man".

  • SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CORPS OF ENGINEERS RECEIVED FINANCIAL DONATION BY DOCTOR CHANDANA GALAPPATHTHI TO UPLIFT LIVING STANDARD OF A SAPPER MEMBER

    At present the Corps, together with the Corps of Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch has launched several projects to ensure the well being of the differently abled soldiers and families of war heroes who had sacrificed their lives and had gone missing during the conflict. Offering scholarships for the beneficiaries of dead, differently abled and serving soldiers, providing financial support to uplift their living standard by donating houses, bathroom fittings and provide medical assistance such as donating wheel chairs, artificial limbs and walking aids are some of the main activities conducts by the Corps of Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch.

    4 (V) Engineer Regiment Sappers’ family bid greetings to the newly appointed Commanding Officer with an investiture ceremony. Maj S K Warahena USP SLE assumed duties as the 34th Commanding Officer of 4 (V) Engineer Regiment SLE on 07 July 2020 with the blessings of Triple Gems. Welcoming ceremony included a Guard Turnout and a formal Troop address.

  • NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BATHROOM AND TOILET COMPLEX FOR OTHER RANKERS INAUGURATED IN 12 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

    The country is in an impasse due to unexpected epidemic COVID 19 and 12 Field Engineer Regiment contributes to this COVID-19 pandemic as front-line responders by involving in disinfection, decontaminating the suspected areas, persons, vehicles and etc.The troops who are engaging with the disinfection and decontamination task have a major issue with a lack of separate sanitary facilities.

  • CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS CARRIED OUT BY ENGINEER TROOPS AT SRI LANKA ARMY VOLUNTEER FORCE HEADQUARTERS -SALAWA, KOSGAMA

    Under the green concept, Sri Lanka Corps of Engineers has completed series of successful field and plant engineering projects at Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Forces Headquarters premises at Salawa, Kosgama. All the projects have been constructed under the overall command and continuous guidance of Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP VSV USP ndc psc, 42nd Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. All the construction projects closely supervised by the Commanding Officer 12 Field Engineer Regiment Major G J P DE Silva SLE, with the immense and highly dedicated contribution of the Officer Commanding 124 Plant Squadron Captain G A M R D B Udurawana USP SLE and troops belongs to Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

    10 Field Engineer Regiment Sappers’ family bid greetings to the newly appointed Commanding Officer with an investiture ceremony. Maj W K S T Kannangara psc SLE assumed duties as the 7th Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 29 June 2020 with the blessings of Triple Gems. Welcoming ceremony included a Guard Turnout and a formal troop address for all ranks by the Commanding Officer.

  • COMMANDER ENGINEER BRIGADE BRIG N P A GUNAWARDENA RSP VISITS 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

    The Commander Engineer Brigade of Sri Lanka Army, Brig NPA Gunawardena RSP paid an official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiments after taking the office of Commander Engineer Brigade few days back. The visit 10 Field Engineer Regiments on 02nd June and The Commander Engineer Brigade was ceremonially welcomed at 10 Field Engineer Regiment. Thereafter, briefing was conducted on current operational commitments, sterilization tasks, Field Engineer Tasks, Plant Engineer Tasks.

  • OFFICIAL VISIT OF CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER TO 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

    The Chief Field Engineer of Sri Lanka Army, Major General HRKP Peiris VSV USP ndu paid an official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiments after taking the office of Chief Field Engineer few months back. The visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 20th of May 2020. The Chief Field Engineer was ceremonially welcomed at 10 Field Engineer Regiment and followed by a briefing on current operational commitments, Sterilization Tasks, Field Engineers Tasks and Plant Engineer Tasks.
