Lt Col KDLD Liyanage RSP psc SLE assumed duties as the 8th Commanding Officer of 14 Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Response Regiment SLE on 27 November 2020 at the Headquarters of 14 Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Response Regiment SLE, MATTEGODA.

Newly appointed Commanding Officer was welcoming by the Second in Command with the ceremonial Guard Turnout. After having the blessing of triple gems the Commanding Officer, Lt Col KDLD Liyanage RSP psc SLE placed his signature for a formal document as a symbolic gesture of taking over the duty. The day’s itinerary included troop address and all ranks tea.
