On 26 April 2025, the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment conducted a comprehensive Explosive Discovery workshop at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), focusing on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). Under the guidance of the Chief Field Engineer and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 14 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Response Regiment, an awareness and introductory session on CBRN accidents, incidents, and the capabilities of the Regiment was conducted in the Disaster Management coordinating conference in Ratnapura District on 25 March 2025 at District Secretariat - Ratnapura.
